Stars love micro pig as a pet...

... and they are adorable, intelligent, and loving.

But if I had one, could I still eat souvlaki... would I have to give up bacon ?

The pigs are crosses of Miniature Pot Bellied pigs with Tamworths, Kune Kunes and Gloucester Old Spots to create their tiny, colourful Micro Pigs, which are sold for between £195 and £700.

I don't really see pigs catching on as common pets. It seems like something a few gullible celebrities might do after someone tells them it's the "in" thing to do and it might get them mentioned in an article like this.

But then I've never understood the appeal of reptiles, fish, birds, or anything other than dogs and cats as pets, and even some of the more 'exotic' breeds don't look like anything I'd want greeting me at the door when I get home.
